Aluminum Diaphragm Pumps

Aluminum Diaphragm Pumps

Aluminum diaphragm pumps use a lightweight aluminum alloy body and diaphragm-based fluid transfer to handle neutral or mildly corrosive liquids in general industrial applications. As the diaphragms move back and forth, liquid is drawn into the chambers and discharged in a steady flow. Their aluminum alloy body provides good strength without adding too much weight, while the anodized surface adds protection against wear and mild corrosion. Depending on the working conditions, the center section can be made from PP or aluminum alloy. These pumps are commonly used for oil-based media, paints, coatings, sludge, wastewater, and liquids with suspended particles.

Applications

Aluminum diaphragm pumps are suitable for neutral or mildly corrosive fluids, including:

  • Paints and Inks: Paint, coatings, printing ink, glue, and other viscous materials
  • Petroleum and Petrochemical Fluids: Diesel, lubricating oil, crude oil, and other flammable oil-based media; air-operated models are preferred for explosion-proof working areas
  • Environmental and Mining Applications: Slurry, high-solids wastewater, mine drainage, and fluids containing suspended particles
  • General Industrial Use: Ceramic glaze, paper pulp, industrial wastewater, and similar process fluids
