Paint Transfer Pumps
Paint, coating, and ink production often involves materials with high viscosity, suspended solids, and ingredients that can be sensitive to excessive agitation. These materials can move through the pump more easily with the open flow path inside a diaphragm pump. The gentle pumping motion moves paints, coatings, and inks with minimal disruption, maintaining their original consistency throughout transfer. The sealed diaphragm design keeps the fluid separated from the driving mechanism, reducing the possibility of leakage during handling and transfer.
For air-operated models, the pump can continue running without damage even when the fluid supply is interrupted. Since no electric motor is located at the pumping chamber, there is no risk of overheating at the pump itself, making pneumatic diaphragm pumps a suitable choice for demanding paint and ink transfer applications.
