Sanitary electric diaphragm pumps are used for liquid transfer in processes where cleanliness, material safety, and easy cleaning matter. They use an electric motor to move the diaphragms back and forth, creating the suction and discharge needed to transfer products through the production line. These pumps are suitable for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and fine chemical applications, including juice, drinks, sauces, liquid medicine, injection solutions, creams, alcohol, and perfume.
To ensure cleaner handling, the pump parts that touch the liquid are made from food-grade stainless steel, including 304, 316, or 316L stainless steel. The diaphragms can be made from food-grade PTFE or EPDM, depending on the medium being transferred. Clamp connections make the pump easier to take apart for cleaning, and the 32Ra electropolished surface helps reduce places where residue can build up. Parts that touch the liquid, including the stainless steel body and PTFE or EPDM diaphragms, meet FDA requirements for sanitary use. These materials are non-toxic, corrosion-resistant, and suitable for clean transfer, which helps reduce contamination risks and prevent residue or bacteria from remaining inside the pump.
- The reciprocating mechanism and reduction unit are housed together, giving the pump a more compact structure and making installation more convenient.
- The reduction output shaft also drives the reciprocating movement, so no additional coupling is needed and the transmission structure remains more compact.
- The housing is designed with a unified mounting base, while the motor is connected through a flange structure to support stable installation and proper alignment.
- Equipped with a larger internal cavity, the housing can hold more lubricating oil, which helps the moving parts run smoothly and supports heat dissipation during operation.
- Linear bearings support the diaphragm pumps reciprocating movement, which reduces friction and makes maintenance or part replacement easier.
- A built-in vent tube helps balance air exchange between the inner cavities on both sides of the diaphragm assembly, supporting smoother diaphragm movement during operation.
