Stainless Steel Diaphragm Pumps

Stainless Steel Diaphragm Pumps

Stainless steel diaphragm pumps are used in processes that need stronger pump bodies and cleaner contact with the liquid. Air-operated models are suitable for sites with compressed air, while electric versions are available when an electric drive is preferred. Inside each stainless steel pump, the diaphragms move back and forth to draw liquid into the chambers and push it out through the outlet, while the one-way ball valves keep the flow moving in the right direction. Stainless steel diaphragm pumps are suitable for weak acids, alkalis, salt solutions, food liquids, pharmaceutical fluids, wastewater, sludge, and oil-related media, especially when the process requires cleaner fluid contact and a stronger pump body.

Features
  • 304, 316, and 316L stainless steel pump bodies provide good resistance to acids, alkalis, and other chemical media.
  • When used with PTFE diaphragms, stainless steel diaphragm pumps can work across a temperature range of -18°C to 120°C, which is suitable for fluid transfer in higher-temperature conditions.
Applications

Stainless steel diaphragm pumps are used in industries that need cleaner fluid contact, corrosion resistance, and stable transfer for different liquid materials:

  • Chemical processing: Weak acids, alkalis, salt solutions, and high-viscosity chemical raw materials
  • Food and beverage: Syrup, fruit juice, and other liquid materials used in food processing
  • Pharmaceutical production: Pharmaceutical raw materials, liquid medicine, and similar process fluids
  • Environmental treatment: Sludge, wastewater, and other treatment-related media
  • Oil industry: Oils and other petroleum-related fluids
